The Bottle Form Lamp is a floor lamp that pairs Mirena Kim's paper pulp sculpture with a handwoven Twenty One Tonnes shade of your choice (pictured are the peaked fawn shade and sunhat shade).

Mirena Kim is an LA-based artist who makes ceramic sculpture, paintings and paper sculptures, her practice moving between form and abstraction. We made this pair of lamps as a limited edition collaboration with Mirena for Los Angeles Design Weekend 2026.

Each shade is handwoven from elephant grass by SWOPA, the Sirigu Women’s Organization for Pottery and Art, in northern Ghana.

MATERIAL

LAMP SHADE: Elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) is a sustainable material prized for its structural integrity, rapid renewability, and minimal environmental impact. Its long, sturdy fibers create a lightweight weave that softens and diffuses light beautifully.

LAMP BASE: Lamp bases formed by Mirena Kim from recycled paper pulp.
