We think about our installations as visual, tactile conversations between material and space, weaver and audience, traditional and contemporary. We consider how light hits a woven surface and throws shadow patterns at different times of day, how the rough texture of hand-thrown pottery contrasts with smooth concrete walls, how the scale of a piece changes the entire rhythm of a room.
The relationships we've built with artisans across three continents over the years allow us to design and commission truly unique pieces for our installations. These custom works surprise while feeling completely at home in their new environment.
The resulting installations contain layers of meaning that reveal themselves slowly, creating experiences that linger with visitors long after they leave.
From single focal points to complete spatial narratives, we design installations that honor both craft traditions and the contemporary spaces that house them.
