ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST DESIGN SHOW INSTALLATION

Twenty One Tonnes' 2019 booth at the Architectural Digest Design Show suspended handwoven Ghanaian baskets in the air, spaced apart as if floating in zero gravity. They hang above a grass arrangement by Fox Fodder Flowers, a floral design studio based in New York, creating a conversation between the raw material below and the woven pieces floating above.

This installation caught the eye of Vogue's global editor at large, Hamish Bowles, who picked Twenty One Tonnes' handwoven baskets to highlight in his Vogue feature on the show.
