We're thrilled to announce that Twenty One Tonnes will once again be a host for LA Design Weekend!
Rooted in community. Resilient by design.
LADW is a weekend-long celebration of design, highlighting the sprawling Los Angeles design scene in a localized way. It’s a progression, moving from one part of the city to the next across four days. The event brings together studios, shops, installations, and more in clustered pockets, making it easy to explore by foot, bike, scooter, or Metro.

This year's event will take place September 26-29, and will "honor the resilience of our creative community in the wake of the devastating fires — spotlighting the makers, spaces, and ideas that continue to rebuild, reimagine, and inspire."
MEET OUR CO-HOST
Join us at our Lincoln Heights studio where we'll be showcasing an exciting new lighting collaboration with furniture designer Sam Klemick.

Sam brings fifteen years of fashion experience to woodworking, creating pieces that challenge boundaries between soft and solid. Her background — a family of quilters and carpenters — shows up in how she approaches wood as if it were fabric, coaxing rigid materials into surprisingly fluid forms.
Working by hand with salvaged LA construction wood and responsibly sourced red oak, Sam lets the material lead the design process, allowing imperfections and process marks to become part of her pieces. The result is furniture that feels warm rather than precious.

We are thrilled to be presenting a special lighting collaboration with Sam at LADW. Please mark your calendar - we hope to see you there!
