Woven by hand in Oaxaca, Mexico by artist Edgar Perez and family. The Perez family has worked with this material and passed down their craft for 4 generations. This shade is constructed from "carrizo", a bamboo-like river reed, that has been harvested, processed by hand, and toasted over coals to achieve its smokey hue.
Hardwired with adjustable 4’ twisted cloth cord (in vanilla) and brass fittings (not UL listed).
