We came across the inspiring work of Victoria Manganiello and wanted to share.
Hers are not paintings created with liquid paints, but canvases woven from textiles like cotton and silk. Made on a floor loom, Manganiello's work explores themes of time and space. In her words, "The woven structure is a powerful representation of strength and weakness. I create my own canvases to produce paintings that illustrate the possibilities of working in multiple dimensions by adding depth and texture to the spatial aspects of the piece as well as the dimension of time."
